Alan BoschI am a native of New Orleans, Louisiana (U.S.A.) and had my first experience with reptiles at 8 years of age when I captured my first snake: a ring-necked ( Diadophis punctuas ). This incident ignited a lifelong passion for herpetology. I studied under the famed Wyoming herpetologist Dr. George T. Baxter (Bufo baxteri) while completing a BS in Wildlife Management, Terrestrial Option, minoring in Aquatic Wildlife Management, at the University of Wyoming.

Graduation in 1979 was immediately followed by 5 months and 1,600 shows wrestling American alligators and lecturing on rattlesnakes and other venomous reptiles at the famous Reptile Gardens off Highway 16 in South Dakota's Black Hills.

Real life struck in 1980, and following job stints as a health club manager and a pay telephone company VP and owner, I fell back on my degree and started breeding albino Burmese Pythons ( Python molurus bivitattus ) in 1989. I started as a serious hobbyist and then went full time in 1996. My main herp interests revolve around the Ball or Royal Pythons ( Python regius).

As President of the Coastal Carolina Herpetocultural Society, I was able to reinforce the ideals of reptile and amphibian collecting and captive maintenance as well as spearhead many local field trips and educational sessions.

Bill (AKA Billy) Albright joined Alan Bosch Reptiles in 2006 after Billy Albrightcreating Georgia's largest and most complete reptile exhibit in the Atlanta suburbs. His extensive background in venomous care and handling makes him infinitely qualified to care for the store's vast display of cobras (7 species including 2 albino species and an 11' Malaysian King!), pit vipers, Gila Monsters, Beaded lizards, large constrictors and lizards.

Bill's knowledge of animal care, especially crictical care, allows him to dispense excellent information on all native and a multitude of non-native species, both venomous and non-venomous.
